Tasting Notes
The aromas are reminiscent of a mix of ripe red and blue berries, with raspberry, sour cherry, blackberry, and blueberry. The fruit is very well blended with the varietal aromas from the grapes, plus sweet cinnamon and nutmeg spice, and candy.
There are also subtle dairy notes, and well behind that, a note of toast thanks to the very brief time spent in oak. The palate is vibrant, with smooth tannins, medium body, and a very long finish.
